Education and Training

Sociology Degree at Trento University.
Specialisation in Administration Studies at Bologna University.

Work experience

Director of the Health Sector since 1975, between 1995 and 2005 he was Regional Secretary for Social and Health Policies of the Veneto Region, as well as in charge of the Technical Office of the Commissions of the Regional departments of Social and health Policies, within the framework of the Conference of the Regions.

He was President of the Agency for regional health services between 1999 and 2005. He did research and training at international level and edited more than 200 publications, mainly on journals.

He is currently involved in the training of social and health managers and he holds the position of Director of CUOA Sanità (school of health and social management based in Veneto).
