In 2000 she graduated in Social Anthropology at the School of Oriental and African Studies – University of London (UK) and she holds a Master in Local Development and Social Quality from Bicocca University of Milan.
She is senior researcher and trainer, expert in methods for qualitative research for social policy. She acquired specific competences related to the planning, writing and management of complex projects in the context of national and European financing programmes. Moreover, she is an expert in the area of child protection and advocacy.
Over the years, she coordinated various national and international projects concerning women, family changes, services for children and young people, work-family balance, discriminations and equal opportunities.
From 2012 to 2014 she was member of the list of Independent experts in support to the DG Justice of the European Commission.
