Update on survey of women worklife balance and social needs in South Tyrol rural areas

The interviews of the Survey of women worklife balance and social needs in rural areas of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano are concluded. A total number of 80 women living in small villages of the Burgraviato and Alta Val d’Isarco areas were interviewed. The qualitative phase is now started with 10 interviews to local expert witnesses.
The results of the quali-quantitative research will help local policy makers to better identify policy strategies to improve the reconciliation of work, private and family life in Alpine areas at risk of depopulation. The project is funded by the European Social Fund of the Province of Bolzano.
