Conference “Elderly, frailty and cognitive disorder.”

Synergia supports the organization of the Conference “Elderly, frailty and cognitive disorder. Which frontiers for social and medical assistance?” promoted by Società Italiana di Sociologia della Salute (SISS) who will be held in Milan on 16th and 17th June 2017. The aim of the conference is to share studies, researches and experiences and spread knowledge in order to produce positive consequences on social policies and promote innovative practices useful for the early diagnosis of dementia and for improving the quality of life of elderly. Besides a plenary session, three conferences (“Families and caregivers”, “Training of professionals” and “Best practices”) will be held. On 17th June, participants can also take part in a round table dedicated to socio-medical services and local policies for elderly.
